SHADE ACROSS AMERICA CAMPAIGN

Dear Retailer

All schools need and deserve a shade cover. I get phone calls daily from school volunteers looking for direction on grants or donations to provide their schools with shade covers.There simply isn't enough grant money, funding or donations available to provide funding for every school in America to have the shade structures they desire and require.

My mission with the "Shade Across America" Campaign is to help each and every school by creating funding assistance for their structures and eliminate the paper work for grants (which hardly ever gets approved), the overhead expense, eliminate out of pocket expenses, reduce the need for volunteers and school fund raising.

Initially, this seemed an impossible task. After much research and inquisition, I decided the easiest way to do this was to recruit retailers to accept a "Sun Smart Reward Card" and donate a portion of the proceeds from sales to help fund structures for schools. This program will require no effort from the educational institution after it has been registered in the program with the Skin Cancer Awareness Foundation. The card users will be raising funds everyday while shopping for items they normally purchase. Anyone can use the card and there will be new retailers added on a continuous basis. There will be no out of pocket expenses for the retailers as Skin Cancer Awareness Foundation will provide all information in downloadable format from the web site.

This is a "user friendly" program that every retailer can easily participate in. It's a big goal that takes a lot of money but we're up to the challenge.

This is a national campaign involving hundreds of schools across the country. The additional revenue impact could be enormous considering the
possibility of thousand of new customers shopping at your store/s or web site.
