American Academy Of Dermatology


William H. Barth, President of Skin Cancer Awareness Foundation received an American Academy of Dermatology Gold Triangle Award at the 10th annual Gold Triangle Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening at the San Diego Marriott.

Gold Triangle awards annually recognize and honor media, industry, health community, public service and individual efforts that further the understanding of dermatologic issues and encourage healthy behavior.

Headquarted in Schaumburg, Il. the American Academy of Dermatology, founded in 1938, is the largest, most influential, and most representative of all dermatologic associations. With membership of more than 14,000 dermatologists worldwide, the academy is committed to: advancing the diagnosis and medical, surgical and cosmetic education, and research in dermatology; and supporting and enhancing patient care for a lifetime of healthier skin, hair and nails.
